In this Episode
On October 1, 1999, we launched MFNRocks.com, an internet radio station at a time when most people were still trying to figure out what the hell internet radio even was.
In this episode, I go back to the beginning of MFNRocks—how the business started, what we were trying to build, some of the guests who came through, and the absolute mayhem that occasionally took place inside our studio.
This was years before podcasts became mainstream and long before everybody had a show they could broadcast from their phone. We were trying to build an online rock & roll radio station when streaming audio over the internet was still new territory.
Rock & roll. Internet radio. Guests. Studio chaos. And plenty of stories from a time when we were basically making shit up as we went along.

And this is only half the story. Part 2 gets even better.
If you grew up with rock radio, remember the early days of the internet, love broadcasting, or wonder what internet radio looked like before podcasts and streaming took over the world, subscribe and stick around.
