I Turned 50 and Found My Old Radio Photos — The Stories Came Flooding Back | Ep #10

In this Episode

Turning 50 will apparently make you start digging through old shit. I found an old photo album, and suddenly I was right back in Roanoke, Virginia, working at 96.3 WROV and remembering stories I hadn’t thought about in years.

In this episode, I take a trip back to my radio days at WROV and tell a couple of stories from that chapter of my life—the people, the memories, and some of the shit that comes rushing back when you stumble across a box of old photographs.

It’s funny how one picture can instantly transport you back decades and remind you of things you thought you’d completely forgotten.

Radio. Rock & roll. Old photos. Turning 50. And a little nostalgia for the days when working in radio was one hell of a ride.

I’m Leaving Right After This Drink – Episode 10

If you grew up listening to rock radio, worked in radio, love ’80s and ’90s nostalgia, or occasionally find yourself wondering where the hell the last 30 years went, subscribe and stick around.

Apparently turning 50 comes with free flashbacks.
