Merry Christmas
No matter how many places I have lived where it is warm this time of year it’s still hard to get in the Christmas spirit. I always loved this time of year, but I think it being warm pretty much year round I am starting to become a scrooge. But… With that being said… There are a couple things that I am stoked about as we roll into years end.
Bruce Springsteen tickets go on sale Friday. I have to see this dude and cross his concert off the bucket list.
The other thing.. Is Christmas music.. Well, Rock Christmas music. I only pull out these tunes once a year so I end up playing the hell out of them. Here is my list of my Rock Christmas favorites:
Albums:
Twisted Sister – A Twisted Christmas
Gary Hoey – Ho Ho Hoey
Steve Vai – Merry Axemas
Trans Siberian Orchestra – The Christmas Attic / Christmas Eve and Other Stories
Songs:
George Thorogood – Rock N Roll Christmas
John Lennon – Happy Christmas (War is Over)
Brother Cane – God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
Bruce Springsteen – Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Motorhead (Lemmy) – Run Run Rudolph
U2 – Christmas, Baby Please Come Home
Dez Fafara (Coal Chamber / DevilDriver) – Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
These are just a few of the favorites.
