Facebook Live-Streaming Video Now Available to All iPhone Users
by - Bryan Shaw
It seems Facebook is now getting in the game with Periscope and MeerKat to live stream your life. The company announced last Thursday that it wants to extend live streaming to the rest of the world over the next few weeks. Facebook product manager Vadim Lavrusik also said in a blog post Thursday that that the company was “working to bring live video to people using Android phones soon.”
It’s simple if you haven’t used the video feature just yet: From Facebook: “To share live video, tap on Update Status and then select the Live Video icon. You can write a quick description and choose the audience that you want to share with before going live. During your broadcast, you’ll see the number of live viewers, the names of friends who are tuning in and a real-time stream of comments. When you end your broadcast, it will be saved on your Timeline like any other video, which you can then delete or keep for your friends to watch later.”
Sounds awesome.. Can’t wait to start using this feature.
