Hangin' with Gary Hoey: Ozzy, Lita Ford & Untold Rock 'n' Roll Stories

Hangin’ with Gary Hoey: Ozzy, Lita Ford & Untold Rock ‘n’ Roll Stories | Ep #56

In this Episode

What happens when you sit down with an old friend who happens to be one hell of a guitar player? You get some pretty damn good rock ‘n’ roll stories!

This week on I’m Leaving Right After This Drink, I’m joined by guitarist Gary Hoey, a guy I’ve known for nearly 30 years.

We go all the way back to Gary’s early days, his first guitar, and the incredible story of how he ended up auditioning for Ozzy Osbourne. We also get into his career, working with artists like Lita Ford and Lou Gramm, playing music with his son Ian, and some of the people and experiences that shaped him along the way.

Gary also shares some personal stories about his mom, his family, and what music has meant to him over the years.

This isn’t your typical interview. It’s two old friends catching up, talking guitars, rock ‘n’ roll, and a few things I hadn’t even heard before!

Grab a drink, kick back, and enjoy my conversation with Gary Hoey.

Cheers, my friends! 🤘🥃
